An “armed and dangerous” murder suspect has turned himself in after a fatal shooting Saturday afternoon.

Police said they have a first-degree murder warrant for Kendall Jamal McCall, 32, of Jackson.

Officers were called about 5:30 p.m. Saturday to West Side Park to investigate the shooting.

A man was seen leaving the scene, and the victim was not immediately identified by police.

The victim was taken to a Coast hospital, where he later died.

On Monday morning, McCall was held at the Harrison County jail on a $1 million bond.
