$15k, fentanyl & thousands of pills found in South MS drug bust, authorities say

Two D’Iberville residents were arrested last week after authorities said they found fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and 2,000 MDMA, or ecstasy, pills at their home.

Investigators with the Harrison County Narcotics Task Force on Friday also seized 10 pounds of marijuana, ten guns and $15,000 cash that authorities said was drug proceeds, according to a news release from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office said investigators recovered one pound each of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine during a search last week in D’Iberville. They also found 2,000 MDMA, or ecstasy, pills, 10 pounds of marijuana, ten guns and $15,000, according to a news release.

Kavon Lamont Pridgen, 39, and Lakendra Dishay Evans, 36, were arrested Friday and face drug trafficking charges. Authorities said they found one pound each of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine when they searched the home in the 600 block of Cypress Drive in D’Iberville.

Jail records show Pridgen and Evans are held in the Harrison County jail on respective bonds of $1.25 million and $1 million.
