Man accused of attempted murder arrested after stabbing on MS Coast, police say

Police arrested a man Tuesday accused of stabbing a victim several times in Gulfport, authorities said.

Officers found the victim at 12:14 p.m. in the 1300 block of Tropical Cove just off Pass Road, according to a news release.

Police said Floyd Charles Guy, 51, faces one count of attempted murder.

Officers found Guy walking down the street shortly after they arrived, wearing clothes covered in blood, according to the release. The victim was brought to a hospital in stable condition.

A police spokesperson said Guy and the victim know each other.

Guy is being held in Harrison County jail on $1 million bond.
