3 arrested after warrants uncover cocaine, guns and thousands in cash, MS Coast police say

Authorities arrested three men from Moss Point on Friday after search warrants in three locations found a slew of drugs, guns and $7,000, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said.

Agents with the Jackson County Emergency Services Unit, South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force made the arrests. The warrants found cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, oxycodone pills, seven firearms and more than $7,000 in cash, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Monday.

Darrian Cooks, 26, is jailed in Jackson County on three counts of trafficking in controlled substances, jail records show. Joseph Tolliver, 37, is also held in Jackson County and faces one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Antwan Broughton, 32, is jailed in Harrison County on one count of dangerous drugs.

All three men are from Moss Point. They are held without bond because each is on probation for charges from the Mississippi Department of Corrections, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities said more arrests are expected.
