One man died and another was injured after a shooting Thursday evening in Biloxi, police said.

Police said they contacted a “person of interest” in the shooting but have made no arrests. Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased, and Harrison County coroner Brian Switzer said Friday morning he was working to notify next of kin.

Authorities rushed both men to an area hospital.
