Victims identified as 2 men die after multiple shots fired in Gulfport, police say

Two men ages 18 and 21 died in an overnight shooting in Gulfport Monday night.

Gulfport police are investigating the incident, where multiple gunshots were fired at about 8:45 p.m. in the 800 block off 27th Street, south of Pass Road.

Temi Lawal, 18, of Moss Point, died at the home where the shooting occurred, said Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer.

Lorenzo Stennis, 21, of Pascagoula, was taken to the hospital and died there.

Switzer said autopsies will be performed, likely on Wednesday.
