Biloxi PD made an arrest in Saturday night’s Pass Road assault.

When a victim had trouble identifying the person who assaulted him, witnesses filled in a few of the blanks, according to the Biloxi Police Department.

The incident happened on Saturday at around 9:47 p.m. Officers responded to the 1600 block of Pass Road in response to the reported assault.

Patrol officers found a man in his 40s with a neck injury. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he was listed in stable condition.

Officers questioned the victim on Monday.

“The victim reported being assaulted by an unknown person, but was unable to provide additional details,” said a release from the Biloxi Police Department.

Officers gathered additional details from witnesses and were able to make an arrest on Tuesday.

Witnesses identified Steven Victor Thomas, 43. The Biloxi resident was arrested on a warrant for aggravated assault.

“There is no known relationship between the suspect and victim,” said the release.

Biloxi Police officers and investigators later located Thomas and arrested him without incident. Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set Thomas’ bond at $250,000. He was later transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and processed.
