Jackson County deputies searching for man suspected of killing his stepfather
Jackson County sheriff’s Investigators are looking for a man suspected of killing his father.
Deputies were called to Vancleave on Sunday afternoon, where they found Douglas Arguelles severely injured inside his home on Waltman Road. Sheriff John Ledbetter says Arguelles was able to identify his son as the suspect.
Arguelles, 60, was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Ledbetter said Aaron Blake Haylock, 30, took his father’s truck and left the house before deputies arrived. A department spokeswoman said Monday that the truck has been found in Vancleave.
This case remains under investigation.
