The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force has identified a suspect in the 2023 Black Spring Break shooting that injured five, including a police officer, according to a press release.

Dontavis Magee is currently wanted in the April 16 shooting that took place outside the Motel 6 on U.S. 90 in Biloxi.

The Biloxi Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Authorities say that those injured in the shooting are expected to make a full recovery.

The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force encourages anyone with information on Magee’s current location to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-WANTED-2 or submit tips through the USMS Tips App.
