Gulfport police asking for public’s help after two people shot overnight
Two people were shot on Carnes Street in Gulfport early Wednesday, according to the Gulfport Police Department.
At 2:28 a.m., police responded to a call that someone was shooting a firearm in the 100 block of the residential area.
Police say while they were canvassing the area, they were notified by a local hospital that two people with gunshot wounds had arrived at the hospital in a personal vehicle.
One victim was listed in stable condition, while the other is in stable but critical condition.
