The Mississippi Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in a Sunday hit and run that left a Mississippi Coast man dead.

William Angelo Davis, 36, of Lucedale, was killed Sunday while walking on the shoulder of Highway 63 near Sampson Road in Jackson County, MHP Troop K in Biloxi said in a press release. The incident happened around 7:30 p.m.

Witnesses say the driver was in a dark gray 2012 to 2015 Toyota Tacoma pick up truck. Investigators say the truck will have damage to the fog light, fender flare and rear-view mirror on the front passenger side of the vehicle.
