Teen found dead in a vehicle in Gulfport days after his family last saw him

A teenager last seen by his family on Saturday was found dead in a vehicle outside a Gulfport home Wednesday afternoon, said Harrison County Deputy Coroner Ben Bentz.

Ozell Addison Jr., 19, of Gulfport was shot and was dead at the scene, Bentz said. He was found in the 2000 block of 31st. Street in Gulfport, near the 20th Avenue intersection. That is east of U.S. 49 and north of Pass Road.

An autopsy will be performed on Friday, Bentz said.
