Gulfport man had thousands of child porn images on his computer, sheriff says
A Gulfport man arrested on a felony sex crime charge Wednesday is accused of having thousands of images of child pornography, Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said in a press release.
Gabriel Marcus Lizana, 40, was booked into the Harrison County jail on one felony count of possession of child porn.
Investigators received a tip from the Mississippi Attorney General Internet Crimes Against Children Division (ICAC) that Lizana was downloading child pornography to an electronic device, Peterson said in the release.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office found thousands of images of child pornography on Lizana’s device after conducting a search warrant, according to the press release.
Lizana is being held on a $100,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Louise Ladner.
