Mississippi man dies in fatal motorcycle crash in Harrison County, coroner says
A Mississippi man died Thursday afternoon in a fatal motorcycle crash, the Harrison County coroner said.
Harrison County Sheriff deputies responded to an accident at the intersection of Shaw Road and Morgan Lane in Harrison County at 12:13 p.m.
Authorities found a Harley-Davidson motorcycle that was traveling northbound on Shaw Road had collided with the side of a semi-truck that was turning onto Morgan Lane, said Brian Switzer, the coroner.
The rider was identified as Justin Hicks, 43, from Saucier and was pronounced dead at the scene, Switzer said.
Harrison County Sheriff deputies are investigating the accident.
