Have you seen this car? Police searching for Nissan Altima in casino shooting death case
D’Iberville police are asking for the public’s help to find a car with a switched license plate after a California man was found shot to death in a Coast casino parking lot.
Police responded to the Scarlet Pearl Casino early Wednesday morning and found 36-year-old Nicholaus Craig dead inside of his vehicle.
Police released photos of the Nissan Altima to the public after reviewing casino security footage.
“The license plate was improper, not belonging to the suspect’s vehicle,” Police Chief Shannon Nobles said in a press release.
The blue, two-door Altima has a switched Alabama license plate with the tag ID listed as 2CW6059.

Craig died of a single gunshot wound, Harrison County Coroner Switzer said. The California man was a native of Mobile and was at the casino celebrating his birthday.
An autopsy is scheduled for later Wednesday.
