Convicted felon accused of killing his wife in Mississippi Coast shooting
A Vancleave man is held without bond in the killing of of his wife, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said Wednesday.
Sterling Dugas, 37, was arrested on a first degree murder charge after deputies found his wife, Nina Olivia Brossett, dead in a bedroom Monday morning at a home on Jim Ramsey Road, Ezell said in a press release.
Brossett was 40. An autopsy will be performed Thursday.
Dugas also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
County Court Judge Mark Watts denied bond during his initial court appearance.
