25-year-old man killed in Jackson County hit and run, sheriff says
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the driver of a car that hit and killed a pedestrian Wednesday night, according to a press release from Sheriff Mike Ezell.
Jamie Hamilton, 25, of St. Martin, died at the scene after being hit near Tucker Road, the release said.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident, one of which left before deputies arrived.
No charges have been filed yet.
