Police called to home to check on a Gulfport man find him dead of apparent homicide
A Gulfport man is dead and Gulfport Police said they believe he is a victim of a homicide.
At 4:24 p.m. Sunday, Gulfport Police responded to a home at the 600 block of 25th Street for a welfare check.
Police reported they found the man dead, and suspect it to be a homicide.
An autopsy will be performed by the coroner’s office and the investigation continues.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his family.
