Serial bank robber who used stolen money on plastic surgery pleads guilty in Coast heist

A serial bank robber who used money she had stolen from bank robberies to pay for plastic surgery will serve 15 years in prison for robbing a Gulfport bank.

Iconic Facce , a transgender woman from Ashford, Alabama, pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of robbery, District Attorney Crosby Parker said in a press release.

Judge Randi Peresich Mueller sentenced her to a total of 30 years in prison, with 15 years to serve.

Facce admitted to robbing BanCorpSouth on Cowan Road on March 22, 2019.

In the robbery, Facce entered the bank and gave a bank teller a note that read, “you have 1 minute to give the money do not be wrong are (or) die.,” the release said.

Facce’s abandoned Cadillac was later found near the bank.

Authorities arrested Facce in the robbery at George Bush International Airport in Houston following a trip to Mexico for what authorities believed was for plastic surgery.

The witnesses told police the suspect had a swollen face consistent with cosmetic surgery.

The bank tellers later positively identified her as a suspect.

“As the investigation continued investigators were able to determine Facce’s cellphone service provider, and obtain phone data, including geo-location information,” the release said. The data confirmed Facce had been in the area of the bank at the time of the robbery.

Facce had served time in other bank robberies.

On Jan. 29, 2009, she robbery a bank in the north district of Alabama. She served 51 months in prison for that crime.

“We commend the Gulfport Police Department and their steadfast work in identifying , locating, and apprehending this defendant,” Parker said. “ Their work is evidenced by this defendant requesting to plead guilty prior to the trial date. The sentence handed down by the the Court holds the defendant accountable for her actions and assists in providing closure to the victims of this crime.”
