Biloxi police investigating killing outside of a beachfront motel

Biloxi police are investigating the shooting death of a man at the Super 8 motel on Friday, Bioxi Police Lt. O’Neil Adams said in a release.

Police found Cordaryl Weathersby, 26, of Pascagoula, dead of multiple gunshot wounds in the east parking lot of the U.S. 90 motel, Harrison Count Coroner Brian Switzer said.

A 911 call to report the shooting came in at 2:52 p.m.

Police believe the shooting followed some type of altercation.

The death is under investigation as a homicide.

Weathersby’s body is being take to the state Crime Lab in Jackson for an autopsy.
