81-year-old arrested after son-in-law shot in chest at their home, Coast sheriff says

Guy Radar, 81, of Moss Point has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of son-in-law George White, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says.

White, 58, was shot twice in the chest during an argument Thursday, Sheriff Mike Ezell said.

It happened at their home on Big Point Road. Ezell said in a news release that White died at the scene.

County Court Judge Mark Watts released Radar without bond from the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.

Radar’s release with no bond was due to his age and physical condition, Ezell’s news release said.
