4 juveniles arrested after string of house fires, burglaries in Bayside Park, sheriff says
Four juveniles were arrested after a string of vandalism, burglaries and fires occurred at homes in the Bayside Park community, Hancock County sheriff’s officials said Monday.
Two residences were set on fire, and two other homes were vandalized and burglarized, Chief Deputy Jeremy Skinner said in a news release. All four houses were unoccupied at the time of the incidents.
The homes that were set on fire were on West Oktibbeha Street and West Pike Street. The homes that were burglarized and vandalized were on West Oktibbeha Street and East Quitman street.
The four juveniles are not identified because they are minors. They were all arrested on charges including burglary and malicious mischief.
The suspects were charged through Hancock County Youth Court.
