Identity released of Waveland man killed in Gulfport shooting

A Waveland man has died after a shooting in Gulfport early Sunday morning, police say.

Gulfport police tweeted Sunday that two men from Bay St. Louis went to a “medical facility” in the Hancock County city.

One of the men, identified Monday as Lamar Henry, 30, of Waveland, had gunshot wounds and died there, police said.

The other man told Bay police that the shooting happened somewhere in Gulfport.
