Man, 61, arrested after fight with roommate turns deadly, Long Beach police say
A 33-year-old man is dead after a fight with his roommate turned deadly, Long Beach police say.
Police and American Medical Response responded at 1 a.m. Wednesday to a shooting in the 100 block of North Seashore Avenue.
Brandon Bodie was found dead at the scene.
Police say Bodie was apparently in a fight with Kenneth J. Sellier, 61, inside the home they shared, and Bodie was shot multiple times with a handgun.
Sellier was arrested on a manslaughter charge and was taken to the Harrison County jail. His bond was set at $500,000.
Long Beach Police Chief Billy Seal said the two men were not related.
Gulfport Police Department Crime Scene Unit and the Harrison County District Attorney’s Office are assisting with the investigation.
