Woman critically wounded after fight leads to afternoon shooting, Biloxi cops say
Biloxi Police responded to a medical emergency call Monday and found a woman had been shot.
Major Chris DeBack said the shooting occurred about 2 p.m. in the 2000 block of Rustwood Drive off Popp’s Ferry Road near the Margaret Sherry Library.
Police determined there was an altercation before the shooting, De Back said.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what he said are life-threatening injuries.
