George County man arrested on sex charges involving a minor
A George County man is in custody after reports of sexual abuse of a minor, the sheriff said.
Parley Junior Beckner, 44, was arrested on charges of sexual battery and touching a child for lustful purposes, according to Sheriff Keith Havard.
George County Sheriff's Office received a report of alleged sexual abuse on June 11, and the resulting investigation resulted in Beckner's arrest, Havard said.
He is held in the George County jail on a $60,000 bond.
