Someone called police when they saw a young man pulling a pressure washer down the street to a truck in southwest Pascagoula.

The man had just broken into a home on Buena Vista Street after breaking in at Quality Fiber Glass nearby on Ingalls Avenue, Pascagoula Police Capt. Doug Adams said.

A caller who was awake late Monday night gave police a description of a dark truck. Officers soon found the truck, but the driver gave false information about his identification, Adams said.

Police learned the man is Kody Allen Davis, 19, of Pascagoula.

Davis reportedly was speeding and had alcohol and marijuana in his vehicle when he was pulled over, the jail docket shows.

Police discovered a home had been burglarized and found evidence that linked Davis to the business break-in as well, Adams said.

Police arrested Davis early Tuesday on charges of burglary of an occupied dwelling and commercial burglary.

He was being held at the Jackson County jail on felony bonds that total $20,000. His misdemeanor bonds total $2,500.
