Biloxi police say people should be able to easily identify a couple caught on camera taking items from a Biloxi gas station.

Cops asked for help Tuesday in identifying two suspected shoplifters at the Murphy Express near Edgewater Mall on Jan. 18.

Police said the man was wearing a brown jacket with a cotton-like collar, a green and black hat, a white shirt and dark pants. He may also “only have one eye” and had blue hair hanging over his face.

The woman was wearing a black jacket, dark pants with a stripe down the legs and a red hat at the time of the incident, police say. She’s described as having “auburn” color hair.

The release says the couple entered the building through the south side, stuck several items in their pockets and left without paying. The store told police it is an “ongoing problem” with the same couple.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Biloxi Police Department at 228-392-0641, the Biloxi Criminal Investigations Division at 228-435-6112, officer Kit Manning at 228-702-3059. You can also email the Biloxi Criminal Intelligence Unit at ciu@biloxi.ms.us.
