Biloxi police say these two women shoplifted more than $1,000 in clothes from Belk department store at Edgewater Mall. Police want help to identify them.

Two women picked out more than $1,000 in clothes at an Edgewater Mall store and left with their purchases — and without paying for the clothes, police said.

The women are each sought on a shoplifting charge that alleges they stole merchandise from Belk department store, Biloxi Police Maj. Christopher De Back said.

The women put the clothes in bags and simply walked out about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 25, De Back said.

Police released pictures from surveillance cameras Thursday in hopes someone will recognize them.

Investigators believe they are in their late 20s or early 30s, De Back said.
