He drove a car out of downtown Biloxi, police say. It wasn’t his.

Biloxi police arrested a Hattiesburg man after he took a vehicle from downtown Biloxi early Saturday morning, police say.

Terry Carl Graham, 35, was arrested on a charge of felony taking of a motor vehicle.

The investigation began around 3 a.m. after the victim reported his gray 2018 Dodge Challenger was stolen from the 800 block of Beach Boulevard, Maj. Chris De Back said.

Biloxi police quickly notified nearby agencies of the theft. Soon after, D’Iberville police attempted to make contact with the vehicle, which fled westbound on I-10.

The suspect lost control of the vehicle near Cedar Lake road, De Back said. Graham fled the scene on foot, but was taken into custody soon after with the assistance of a police K9.

Judge Fountain set bond at $50,000, and Graham was taken to Harrison County jail.
