Moss Point police want help to identify these three young men, suspected of burglarizing a home on Briggs Street.

Three young males forced their way into the front door of a home on Briggs Street, stealing items including a semi-automatic tactical rifle, police said.

The unidentified suspects, barely visible in surveillance footage obtained by police, broke into a home in the 4200 block of Briggs, Police Chief Calvin Hutchins said.

In addition to an M&P AR 15 rifle, the suspects also took a bag of ammunition for the rifle.

Investigators don’t believe the young males know the resident, Hutchins said.

The resident reported the break-in about 10:25 a.m. Thursday. The neighborhood is between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Bay Avenue.
