A little more than $600 buys a whole lot of groceries — especially if it was bought with an unsuspecting person’s credit card information, police say.

Security cameras at the Winn-Dixie on Pass Road near Popp’s Ferry Road took pictures of a man police say bought hundreds of dollars in groceries Dec.13 with a credit card using another person’s account.

The account holder has the card and has not given it to any one, Biloxi police said in a news release Monday.

The man shown in surveillance footage is suspected of using a “cloned” card, a credit card made using the account information from another person’s account.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call the Biloxi Police Department at 228-392-0641, the Criminal Investigations Division at 228-435-6112 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898.
