A Saucier man arrested on a felony charge is accused of firing shots at a man’s car shortly after yelling at him in a Dollar General parking lot, according to a Harrison County Sheriff’s Department release.

Damion Giglio, 33, was arrested Friday on a charge of aggravated assault in connection with the Jan. 8 incident, according to Harrison County Sheriff’s Investigator Anthony Piazza.

Giglio is accused of firing shots at the victim’s truck after following him out of the Mississippi 53 store’s parking lot. The bullets hit the back of the victim’s pickup truck.

The victim told authorities he was pulling out of the store’s parking lot when he noticed Giglio, who was standing standing outside and yelling at him.

Afterward, Giglio allegedly started firing shots at the victim, though the bullets only pierced his pickup truck.

Sheriff’s deputies later identified Giglio as a suspect.

Deputies made the arrest during a traffic stop.

Giglio is being held at the Harrison County jail on a $100,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner.
