Police want to identify two males who walked out of a Walmart Neighborhood Market with more than $1,000 in merchandise and drove off in a white Kia Optima.

The merchandise was small enough to conceal, and they grabbed it and left, Biloxi Police Maj. Christopher De Back said.

The two are wanted for questioning in a felony shoplifting case from a theft at the store at 2050 Pass Road, De Back said. The store is at the corner of Tara Lane.

De Back said the shoplifting occurred 10 a.m. on Jan. 3.

One suspect was wearing a two-tone black and blue hooded jacket and light-colored pants, he said. The other wore a black jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt under it, and black pants with a white stripe down the legs.

Both had their heads covered with their hoods when surveillance cameras filmed them in pictures provided to the media.
