Video surveillance pictures from a store show two people suspected of burglarizing three cars on Pittman Drive overnight Saturday, police say.

Residents in the 900 block woke up Sunday and realized items including a rifle, prescription drugs and credit cards were taken from their unlocked vehicles, Police Chief Billy Seal said.

Investigators believe the two walked through the neighborhood south of East First Street and pulled on car door handles to find unlocked vehicles, Seal said.

Police released surveillance pictures Wednesday in hopes someone can identify the two.

Anyone who recognizes them is asked to call the Long Beach Police Department at 228-863-7292 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898. Or give a tip online at mscoastcrimestoppers.com.
