He had a stolen firearm with him while trespassing, police say
A 19-year-old is in custody for possession of a stolen firearm after police responded to a trespass complaint in Biloxi.
Around 5 p.m. Friday, Biloxi police responded to the 200 block of Stennis Drive in reference to a trespass complaint, Maj. Chris De Back said.
After officers arrived on scene and conducted an investigation, they learned that Cheyne Baker, of Saucier, was trespassing on the property, De Back said.
Officers made contact with Baker, conducted a pat down for weapons, and found Baker in possession of a firearm stolen from the City of Wiggins in September 2017.
Baker was taken into custody without incident, and Justice Court Judge Bruce Strong set bond at $10,000.
Trespass charges are still pending at this time.
