A Gulfport man died after being shot at a home on 20th Street early Wednesday morning.

Gulfport Police responded to a call about a shooting on 20th Street about 4:14 a.m., according to Police Chief Leonard Papania.

When officers arrived, they found a man had been shot and was dead inside a residence.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove identified the victim as Kenny Peters Sr., 48, of Gulfport.
