Gulfport Police detain suspect in connection with report of shots fired

Gulfport Police has a suspect detained in connection with a report of shots fired in the 1800 block of 43rd Avenue on Monday night.

The police department issued information via Twitter about 6:30 p.m. Monday.

No injuries have been reported.

A suspect has been detained in connection with the shooting.

The incident remains under investigation.
