A complaint about two credit-card skimmers having been placed on gas pumps in Kenner led to the arrest of three Miami men, The Advocate reports.

Alfredo Gouirrie-Blanco, 45; Sandy Alvarez, 34; and Yunior Rodriguez, 35, are suspected of working together to place the skimmers at the Discount Zone in the 4000 block of Williams Boulevard on Friday.

Police said one suspect had entered the store to create distraction, the second blocked the view of the gas pump and the third connected the skimming devices inside the gas pumps.

Information supplied by the store clerk led police to the find a car believed to be involved in the case in the 1000 block of Airline Drive. Blanco had a key that opened gas pumps, Kenner police said.
