Arrest made in connection to Hard Rock stabbing. Suspect still sought, police say.

Biloxi police have made an arrest in connection to a stabbing reported Friday at the Hard Rock Casino Hotel in Biloxi.

Maj. Chris De Back, stated in a press release Saturday that about 11 a.m., officers made contact with Glendel Perry Madden III, 31, of Biloxi in the area of Main Street and Beach Boulevard. Madden was determined to be wearing the clothing Hallis Wayne Russ Jr. had been wearing at the time of the assault.

De Back said police believe Russ stabbed the victim, a man in his 30s. The incident was reported Friday afternoon.

Russ, 29, left the scene on foot, De Back said.

Russ is about 5-feet 10-inches tall, has a “buzzed” haircut and was wearing a blue button-down shirt, De Back said.

The investigation revealed Madden had exchanged clothing with Russ a short time after the incident.

Madden was charged with accessory after the fact to aggravated assault.

Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set a bond at $200,000. Madden was transported to Harrison County jail.

Russ is still being sought by the Biloxi Police Department for Aggravated Assault.
