An Ocean Springs man crawled through an unlocked window and broke a locked bedroom door to confront his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, police said.

Jose Manuel Herrera-Gramajo tried to assault the woman’s boyfriend and was still inside the home when police responded to a call for help, Investigator Nick Sonnier said.

It happened early Sunday in the 200 block of Brown Street, a neighborhood off Division Street, Sonnier said.

No one was injured, he said.

Police arrested the 29-year-old man on a charge of burglary of an occupied dwelling.

Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set bond at $50,000.

Gramajo remained in custody later Sunday at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
