Man stabbed several times. It happened at woman’s apartment

A 911 call of a man repeatedly stabbed led to the arrest of a woman who lives at the Rock House Apartments, Sheriff Keith Havard said.

Deputies received a call about 11 p.m. Thursday on Mississippi 198 east and found a wounded 56-year-old man, Havard said.

Investigators determined he was hurt at the apartment of 46-year-old Donna Russell, he said.

Deputies arrested her on a charge of aggravated domestic assault.

An ambulance crew took the man to a hospital, Havard said.

Deputies took Russell to the George County Regional Correctional Facility pending an initial court appearance.
