A 20-year-old Mobile County man sought in a home invasion in the Howell community has been taken into custody, Sheriff Keith Havard said.
Joseph Bradley Weaver, 20, was arrested Tuesday on warrants on charges of armed robbery, burglary and grand larceny. Havard said more charges are pending.
A homeowner had reported being robbed at gunpoint by two males who forced their way into the residence on Sept. 19. A white car and 16 firearms, believed to be stolen, were taken from the home.
Mobile County deputies arrested Robert Rankin and Adrienne Campbell on Sept. 27 in Semmes, where officials said Weaver ran into woods to avoid arrest.
Weaver also was wanted for questioning in multiple burglaries and thefts, Havard said.
All three are held at the Mobile Metro jail pending extradition to George County.
Havard said Rankin and Campbell face charges related to the home invasion.
The sheriff and investigators went to Mobile to interview Weaver after his arrest.
Havard said more charges are pending.
Anyone with information about the suspects or the crimes are asked to call the George County Sheriff’s Office at 601-947-4811.
