Second woman arrested in casino gift shop embezzlement case, D’Iberville police say

A Biloxi woman was arrested by D’Iberville police Monday for her part in an embezzlement from the Scarlet Pearl Casino gift shop, police say.

Angela Lynn Jones, 44, turned herself into the D’Iberville Police Department on a charge of receiving embezzled goods.

Police Chief Wayne Payne said Jones was an accomplice of Carly Richardson, a Scarlet Pearl employee who police say took more than $10,000 in merchandise from the gift shop from Aug. 11 to Aug. 28.

Jones is held at the Harrison County jail on a $25,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain. She has not yet had an initial court appearance.
