Biloxi police need the public’s help in identifying five women they say took thousands of dollars in merchandise from a lingerie store in Edgewater Mall.

Police responded to the mall about 3 p.m. Sept. 19 after receiving a complaint of shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret, said Maj. Chris De Back.

De Back said five women entered the store and took items totaling more than $4,000.

When Victoria’s Secret management confronted the women, they left the mall in a four-door gray Lexus sedan, De Back said.

Police released surveillance photos of the women and the car.

De Back said the car may have a Mississippi license plate.

The five women are wanted on felony shoplifting charges. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Biloxi Police Department at 228-392-0641, the Biloxi police Criminal Investigations Dvision at 228-435-6112 or Crime Stoppers at 877-787-5898.
