Two men are sought in an armed home invasion that has resulted in a woman’s arrest and the recovery of a stolen vehicle and 16 firearms believed to be stolen.

The two men forced their way inside a home in the Howell community Sept. 19 and held the homeowner at gunpoint, Sheriff Keith Havard said in a news release.

The suspects stole firearms and other items and left in a small white car, Havard said.

He identified Joseph Bradley Weaver, 20, of Mobile County, as a person of interest. Investigators want to question Weaver on multiple burglaries, the thefts of a vehicle and utility trailers, and residential burglaries, he said.

Mobile County deputies were looking for Weaver in Semmes on Wednesday, but he fled on foot into a wooded area, Havard said.

Deputies also arrested Adrian Campbell of Mobile and recovered stolen items including firearms. Her charges were not immediately available, and deputies did not disclose her involvement in the situation.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Weaver or who can identify the second suspect is asked to call the George County Sheriff’s Office at 601-947-4811.
