A Louisiana man has been arrested on a child pornography charge after a search of his hotel room in Biloxi, Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said.
Brian Scott Angell, 39, of Bossier City, was under investigation when a search Thursday night found sexually explicit pictures of children on one of his electronic devices, Peterson said.
Angell admitted downloading pornographic pictures and videos of children on the Mississippi Coast and at his home, Peterson said.
Angell was booked at the Harrison County jail early Friday.
He was being held on a $100,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
Peterson said his investigators and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force worked on the investigation along with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office and the Louisiana ICAC Task Force.
