He was driving a stolen car, police say

Biloxi police have charged a man stopped for a traffic violation with stealing the vehicle he was driving.

Officers stopped the vehicle at about 11 p.m. because it was reported stolen Aug. 22, said Lt. Christopher De Back.

Nathan Kyle Chandler, 27, was the only person in the vehicle. He was charged with receiving stolen property because he was in possession of the stolen vehicle.

Bond was set at $25,000 by Judge Albert Fountain. Chandler was taken to Harrison County jail.
