Long Beach Police released this photo from a surveillance video to ask the public if they can help identify the suspect connected to the armed robbery at The First Bank on Klondyke Road on Wednesday.

A woman filmed by video surveillance before a bank robbery may have been with the suspects, Police Chief Wayne McDowell said.

The unidentified woman was inside The First and asking questions before two men with guns came in and held up the bank Wednesday, McDowell said.

It’s unclear if the woman was in the getaway vehicle, believed to be a silver Hyundai, he said.

“We’ve connected her with being in that area a few minutes before the robbery and with that vehicle,” McDowell said.

The robbery suspects are two men believed to be in their 20s and both about 5-foot-6.

The bank was robbed about 11:48 a.m. The bank is at Klondyke and Pineville roads.

Police in Hammond, Louisiana, came to the scene after hearing of the bank robbery. A Hammond bank was robbed Tuesday. Suspects in that holdup have similar descriptions as the men sought in the Long beach robbery. Surveillance pictures indicate one of the suspects wore the same clothes in each holdup.

“We’re still trying to see if there’s a connection,” McDowell said.
