A Mississippi Coast resident wants police to arrest the man who stole a 65-quart cooler from his pickup while he was at a Biloxi casino.

It’s not a cheap cooler like many people would have, Biloxi Police Officer Michael Wheeler said.

“It cost about $300 or $400, and the owner wants it back and he wants whoever took it arrested,” Wheeler said.

The man reported the tan cooler was in the back of his pickup July 31 while he was at IP Casino Resort.

Investigators looked at video surveillance and found pictures of the suspect. Wheeler said the man was wearing a red or maroon shirt, blue jeans and sandals and he left with the cooler in a small red car.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call Wheeler at 228-702-3054, the police department’s criminal investigations division at 228-435-6112 or police dispatchers at 228-392-0641. Or tipsters can email ciu@biloxi.ms.us.
